1.Preheat oven to 120°C/250°F. Place petit four cases on oven tray.
2.Beat egg white and 2 tablespoons of the sugar in small bowl with electric mixer until sugar is dissolved; fold in remaining 1 tablespoon sugar.
3.Drop rounded teaspoons of mixture into cases. Sprinkle meringues with extra sugar.
4.Bake meringues about 25 minutes or until they are dry to touch. Cool meringues in oven with door ajar.
5.Meanwhile, stir jam and liqueur in small saucepan over low heat until warm.
6.Gently press berries into top of each meringue; brush with warm jam mixture. Serve immediately.
