1.Preheat oven to 160°C/140°C fan-forced. Grease oven trays;line with baking paper.
2.Beat butter, extract and sifted icing sugar in small bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy; stir in sifted dry ingredients, in two batches.
3.Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls; place about 3cm apart on trays. Using fork dusted with flour, press tines gently onto each biscuit to flatten slightly.
4.Bake biscuits about 15 minutes; cool on trays.
5.Meanwhile, make orange hazelnut butter.
