Golden cinnamon biscuits

The dark caramel flavours of brown sugar and golden syrup spiced with cinnamon mean these simple golden cinnamon biscuits are absolutely full of flavour.

1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease 2 oven trays.
2.Combine butter, golden syrup and sugars in a medium heavy-based pan. Stir over low heat until butter is melted; cool for 5 minutes. Stir in flour and cinnamon.
3.Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls. Place about 2cm apart on greased oven trays Gently flatten with a floured fork until lcm thick. Bake for about 12 minutes or until browned. Stand for 1 minute before lifting onto wire racks to cool.

Makes about 30.
