1.Place eggplant in a single layer in a large bamboo steamer. Place steamer over large pan of simmering water; steam eggplant about 5 minutes or until tender.
2.Thread eggplant onto 8 bamboo skewers. Whisk together kecap manis, honey and sesame oil in a small bowl until combined. Brush honey mixture over skewers. Cook skewers on heated oiled barbecue (or grill or grill pan), basting occasionally with remaining honey mixture, about 5 minutes, or until browned.
3.Serve skewers sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds.
