Method

1.In a medium saucepan, combine the water, marsala and sugar; stir over low heat for about 3-5 minutes, or until sugar dissolves.
2.Bring to the boil; add figs. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, without stirring, for about 30 minutes or until figs soften. Serve warm.
