Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Grease a 25cm square cake pan.
2.Melt butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove from heat, then stir in sugar, vanilla, eggs, flour and nuts until just combined.
3.Pour mixture into prepared pan; bake for 25-30 minutes or until set. Do not overcook; the top should be soft to touch and brownies will firm as they cool, but they should be moist and fudge-like.
4.Cool in pan. Served dusted with icing sugar.

Butter and chocolate suitable to microwave.
