1.Stir the water, juice and sugar in medium bowl until sugar dissolves. Add apples, pear, chilli and mint; toss gently to combine.
2.Cook pork on heated oiled grill plate (or grill or barbecue) until browned both sides and cooked as desired. Serve pork with salsa.
For a different flavour, marinate the pork steaks overnight in 1/4 cup olive oil, the rind and juice of a lemon, and 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves.Note
