1.Combine honey, water, golden syrup and butter in a saucepan. Stir constantly over heat without boiling until butter is melted. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
2.Grease a deep 19cm square cake pan, line base with paper. Grease paper well. Preheat oven to 180°C.
3.In a bowl, combine dates, walnuts and almonds, then add sifted dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to honey mixture; stir until combined. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Bake for about 50 minutes. Cover cake with foil, cool in pan.
