Silverbeet is packed with vitamins and minerals such as iron and magnesium. This tasty vegetable is seriously versatile and adds a welcome crunch to pies, quiches and pastas. And that’s why there’s nothing better than a couple of silverbeet recipes when you’re in need some veg.

While the leaves require minimal cooking and, when fresh, can be eaten raw (we recommend slicing into thin ribbons and massaging with extra virgin olive oil), silverbeet stalk is best sautéed.

You can prepare silverbeet leaves up to 1 day ahead. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Bring to room temperature 10 minutes before filling.
