These fun and impressive blondies can be enjoyed by everyone. They are both nut-free and egg-free.

Method

1.Preheat oven to 160°C/325°F. Grease a 20cm x 30cm rectangular slice pan; line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above sides of pan.
2.Stir butter, chopped chocolate and milk in a large saucepan over medium heat until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. Add brown sugar and yeast; stir to combine. Cool for 5 minutes
3.Whisk sifted flour and icing sugar into chocolate mixture. Fold through half the combined choc Bits.
4.Pour mixture into pan. Sprinkle with remaining choc Bits
5.Bake for 40 minutes or until blondie is golden brown and just cooked through. Cool blondie in pan before cutting into rectangles

Make this into a white chocolate blondie by replacing the brown sugar with caster sugar. Blondie can be made 3 days ahead; store in an airtight container
