Method

1.Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced).
2.Place pork on a wire rack in a baking dish; rub oil all over pork. Roast pork, uncovered, for about 1 hour 20 minutes, or until cooked as desired. Cool; then cut pork into 2cm squares.
3.Meanwhile, cut apple into 36 similar-sized pieces.
4.Heat a wok on medium-high heat, add sauces and pork; stir-fry until sauce caramelises. Remove pork; add apple to wok, toss to coat in sauce.
5.Skewer one piece of apple and one piece of pork on each toothpick. Serve.

Place apples in acidulated water (cold water mixed with either vinegar or lemon juice) to prevent them from browning. Not suitable to freeze. Not suitable to microwave.
