Spaghetti with tomato and white beans



1.Heat half of the stock in medium saucepan, add onion and garlic, cook, stirring, until onion is soft. Stir in wine, remaining stock, sugar and sauce, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, until sauce thickens slightly.
2.Meanwhile, cook pasta in large saucepan of boiling water, uncovered, until just tender, drain.
3.Stir remaining ingredients into sauce, cook, stirring, until hot.
4.Serve spaghetti with tomato and white beans.

Many varieties of already cooked white beans are available canned, among them cannellini, butter and haricot beans, any of these are suitable for this recipe.
