Spaghetti with anchovies and garlic breadcrumbs

Simple and delicious, this pasta dish can be on the dinner table in just half an hour. Don't be frightened of the anchovies; topped with the garlic breadcrumbs, they give a wonderful flavour.

Method

1.Cook pasta in large saucepan of boiling water, uncovered, until just tender; drain.
2.Meanwhile, remove and discard crusts from bread; blend or process bread into fine crumbs.
3.Melt butter in medium frying pan; cook garlic and crumbs, stirring, until browned.
4.Combine pasta and crumb mixture in large bowl with remaining ingredients; serve with lemon wedges, if desired.

This recipe is best made close to serving.
