Remember those chocolate crackles of yesteryear? Here, we’ve given it a festive makeover with a mix of dark and white chocolate and a sprinkling of candy canes for good measure. Merry Christmas!

1.Line a 20 x 30cm lamington pan with baking paper, extending paper 3cm above edge.
2.In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate melts in 30-second bursts on medium (50%), stirring, until smooth. Stir in peppermint essence. Spread over base. Freeze for 10 minutes.
3.Repeat with one packet white chocolate melts until smooth. Stir in rice bubbles and coconut. Spread over dark chocolate. Freeze for 10 minutes.
4.Melt second white chocolate packet as before. Spread over slice. Sprinkle with candy canes and cachous. Freeze until set. Break into shards.
