Ingredients
Method
1.Grease a 19cm x 29cm slice pan and line base with baking paper.
2.Sift flour into a large bowl, stir in herbs then rub in butter with fingertips. Using a round-bladed knife, stir in enough milk to form a soft, sticky dough. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead briefly until smooth then roll out to make a 30cm x 40cm rectangle.
3.Spread tomato sauce over dough, then sprinkle with 1½ cups of the grated cheese. Roll up dough from the long side. Cut roll into 12 even slices. Place slices, cut-side up, in prepared pan and sprinkle with remaining ½ cup grated cheese.
4.Bake in a 200°C (180°C fan forced) preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until browned.
Pullaparts are best eaten on the day of baking.
