Puff pastry cheese straws
  • 2 (sheets) puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten lightly
  • 1/2 cup (40g) parmesan cheese, finely grated

Method

    Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan forced). Grease oven trays.
  • 2
    Brush pastry sheets with egg; sprinkle one sheet with cheese. Top with other pastry sheet, press together.

    Cut into 1.5cm strips, cut each strip in half. Twist strips, place about 2cm apart on trays.

    Bake about 12 minutes or until strips are browned lightly.
