Method

1.In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, tomatoes, paste and cloves; cook, uncovered, for about 10 minutes, or until mixture thickens.
2.Stir in rice and water; bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, covered tightly, for about 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
3.Remove from heat; stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
4.Fluff rice with fork; garnish with coriander. Serve.
