Sparkling wine with raspberry

You could use peach slices in place of raspberries and peach liqueur rather than strawberry when making this delightful party drink if you like.

Ingredients

180 gram fresh or frozen raspberries

1/3 cup strawberry-flavoured liqueur

1/3 cup orange-flavoured liqueur

1 tablespoon caster sugar

1/2 orange

3 cup chilled sparkling white wine

Method

1.Combine raspberries, strawberry-flavoured liqueur, orange-flavoured liqueur, caster sugar and the zest of the orange in small bowl. Refrigerate 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves.

2.Divide mixture into eight glasses; top with 3 cups chilled sparkling white wine.

Zest the orange into long thin strips.
