Method

1.Cook onion on a heated oiled barbecue flat plate, 5 minutes or until softened. Add caraway seeds and pear; cook, uncovered, 5 minutes or until pear is browned lightly. Transfer pear mixture to a medium bowl, add vinegar and oil.
2.Meanwhile, cook sausages on the heated oiled barbecue grill plate, turning, 10 minutes, uncovered, until cooked through.
3.Add nuts and witlof to pear mixture; toss gently to combine.
4.Serve sausages with salad.
