1.Cook chicken following packet directions.
2.Heat oil in a wok over high heat; stir-fry onion and garlic until fragrant. Return chicken to wok with remaining ingredients; stir-fry until heated through, season to taste.

Frozen tempura chicken is available from major supermarkets and Asian grocery stores. You can make your own tempura chicken using a store-bought tempura batter mix. For best results, cut 400g (12½ ounces) of chicken breast fillets into serving size pieces; dry with kitchen paper, then coat with the batter. Deep-fry the chicken in batches until golden brown. Chinese black vinegar is a dark-coloured vinegar with a smoky, malt flavour that works well in stir-fries, braises and marinades. It is available from Asian grocery stores and some larger supermarkets.
