1.Chill 6 sundae glasses in the freezer. Place strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle with icing sugar.
2.HOT FUDGE SAUCE. Melt butter in a frying pan on medium. Add sugar and cook, stirring, 2-3 minutes, until sugar dissolves. Add cream and cook, stirring, 2-3 minutes, until boiling. Reduce heat to low and simmer 3-4 minutes, until sauce thickens.
3.Using a small scoop, create layers of ice-cream and strawberries in each glass. Pour over hot sauce and sprinkle with the crushed Maltesers and nuts.
For a lighter dessert, you could use low-fat ice-cream, omit Maltesers and replace the hot fudge sauce with warmed low-joule caramel topping.Note
