Tandoori chicken

A crispy and delicious Indian-style tandoori chicken dish; perfect for sharing with friends and family. Serve with coriander, cucumber and mint salad and mint raita.

Method

1.Combine paste, yoghurt, garlic and ginger in large bowl. Add chicken. Using hands, rub tandoori mixture all over chicken. Cover, refrigerate overnight.
2.Preheat oven to 180°C.
3.Tuck chicken wings under body. Tie legs together with kitchen string. Place chicken on oiled rack over baking dish. Pour wine into baking dish, bake about 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is cooked through. Serve with steamed rice, if you like.
