Method

1.Preheat oven to 240°C (220°C fan-forced).
2.Stir butter, sugar, cream and cinnamon in medium saucepan over low heat until sugar dissolves; bring to the boil. Add apple, reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, without stirring, about 5 minutes or until apple is tender.
3.Spread apple mixture into 23cm pie dish.
4.Cut 24cm round from pastry sheet; place round on top of apple mixture.
5.Bake in oven about 20 minutes or until pastry is browned lightly. Stand 5 minutes; turn tart, apple-side up, onto serving plate.
