1.Grease deep 19cm (8-inch) square cake pan.
2.Combine sugar, butter, golden syrup, glucose and condensed milk in medium saucepan, stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil, boil, stirring, about 7 minutes or until mixture is a caramel colour.
3.Remove from heat, allow bubbles to subside. Pour into pan, stand at room temperature 10 minutes. Mark into squares approximately 2cm (¾ inch) using greased metal spatula. Cool completely before cutting.
