1.Preheat oven to 160°C (140°C fan forced). Grease 20cm x 30cm (8 inch x 12 inch) rectangular pan, line base and long sides with baking paper, extending paper 5cm (2 inches) over sides.
2.Melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat, stir in sugar until smooth.
3.Coarsely chop half the chocolate.
4.Stir oats and nuts into butter mixture, then egg, sifted dry ingredients, chopped chocolate and Choc Bits.
5.Spread mixture into pan. Bake about 30 minutes. Cover hot slice with foil, cool.
6.Melt remaining chocolate. Turn slice, top-sideup, onto wire rack, drizzle with chocolate. Stand at room temperature until set before cutting.
