Method
1.Heat oil in a large saucepan on medium. Saute onion and garlic 4-5 minutes, until tender.
2.Add remaining ingredients except last 3. Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3.Preheat barbecue grill on high. Barbecue sausages, brushing with sauce, until cooked through. Keep warm.
4.Brush steaks with oil and season to taste. Barbecue until cooked to taste, brushing with sauce and turning once.
5.Rest steaks, covered with foil, 5 minutes. Serve steaks and sausages with extra sauce and salad leaves.
Cook steaks to seal until moisture begins to pool on top surface (about 2 minutes). Turn only once. Cook on second side until cooked to taste.
