Method

1.Peel, quarter and core quinces. Cut each quarter into two wedges.
2.Combine remaining ingredients in 6-litre (24-cup) pressure cooker, cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Add quince, turn to coat in orange mixture. Secure lid, bring cooker to low pressure. Reduce heat to stabilise pressure, if required, cook 40 minutes.
3.Release pressure using the quick release method, remove lid. Turn quinces in syrup, cool in cooker. Serve quinces drizzled with syrup.
