Peach and amaretti crumbles
  • 4 large_piece peaches, thickly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
  • 125 gram crushed amaretti
  • 1/4 cup ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup plain (all-purpose) flour
  • 80 gram chopped butter

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease four 1¼-cup (310ml) ovenproof dishes; place on oven tray.

    Cook peaches, sugar and mixed spice in medium saucepan, stirring, over medium heat, until peaches are tender; divide mixture into dishes. .

    Meanwhile, combine biscuits, almonds and flour in medium bowl; rub in butter then sprinkle mixture evenly over peaches

    Bake crumbles about 20 minutes or until browned.
