Method

1.At home, combine trout, sour cream, cornichons, dill and lemon juice in small container.
2.At lunchtime, split roll in half horizontally, spread one half with trout mixture. Top with remaining half of roll.

Make the filling in advance, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
