1.To make the cranberry onions: In a medium frying pan, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes, or until onion is soft. Add vinegar and sugar; cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes, or until caramelised. Stir in sauce; remove from heat.
2.Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine turkey, onion and parsley; season. Using your hands, shape mixture into four patties.
3.On a heated oiled barbecue (or grill or grill pan), cook patties for about 12 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove; cover.
4.Toast rolls, cut-side down, on barbecue. Sandwich lettuce, tomato, patties, cheese and onions between rolls. Serve.
You can melt the cheese for each burger, if you prefer.
