1.Cook bacon in small, frying pan; stir until browned lightly. Add pine nuts and garlic; cook, stirring, until browned.
2.Meanwhile, cook pasta in large saucepan of boiling water, uncovered, until just tender. Drain, reserving ¼ cup (60ml) of the cooking liquid. Return pasta to pan.
3.Add bacon mixture to pasta with spinach, cheese, oil, juice and reserved cooking liquid; toss to combine. Serve sprinkled with parmesan cheese flakes, if desired.
