Method

1.Heat the oil in a large frying pan, then add chicken and cook, covered, for about 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
2.Meanwhile, add gnocchi to a large pan of boiling water and simmer, uncovered, until tender; drain.
3.Remove chicken from the pan and cover to keep warm. Drain the fat from the pan. Add garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant. Add wine and simmer, uncovered, until most of the liquid is evaporated. Add pesto and cream, then bring the mixture to the boil.
4.Serve chicken with gnocchi and sauce. Sprinkle with basil.

Not suitable to freeze. Gnocchi suitable to microwave. Fresh gnocchi is available refrigerated in supermarkets. This recipe is best made close to serving.
