1.In small saucepan, blend brown rice flour with water. Stir over heat until mixture boils and thickens. Cool to room temperature.
2.Meanwhile, boil, steam or microwave apple until tender; drain. Push through a sieve into small bowl.
3.Combine 1 tablespoon rice cereal with 1 tablespoon apple puree to serve.
After microwaving food for children, it is very important to thoroughly stir it to distribute the heat evenly. Then, you should ALWAYS test the temperature against your skin (dip in a clean finger, or place a small quantity of food on your lower lip). It should feel warm, not hot.
