Method
1.Plunge asparagus into a pan of boiling water for 1 minute, drain, refresh under cold water and drain again.
2.Pan-fry lamb in a heated, greased frypan for about 3-4 minutes each side or until cooked to your liking. Remove steaks from pan, cover and rest 2-3 minutes.
3.Lightly toast bread slices under a preheated grill. Top toasted bread with basil leaves, lamb steaks, asparagus, cheese slices and a dollop of tapenade.
4.Serve immediately, seasoned with freshly cracked pepper.
