1.Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease six 1-cup ramekins.
2.In a small bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together until well combined. Add egg and beat well.
3.Sift flour and cocoa together. Fold into butter mixture alternately with milk. Divide chocolate mixture between ramekins.
4.To make sauce, combine sugar and cocoa in a jug. Stir in boiling water until smooth.
5.Arrange ramekins on an oven tray. Pour an equal amount of sauce over each. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until firm.
6.Serve warm in ramekins with cream and dusted with icing sugar, or inverted onto serving plates.
For ease, try using cooking oil spray to grease ramekins. You can add 1/4 cup chopped pecans to the mixture in step 3, if you like.Note
