Four-ways with air fryer roast potatoes

From Greek-style potatoes to peri peri to fetta, dill & bacon, these air fryer roast potato recipes are flavour-packed and quick to make, ready in 30 minutes.

The air fryer is a great appliance to use for roast potatoes. They cook quickly, producing a golden, crispy end result with less oil needed.

Greek-style roast potatoes

Preheat a 7-litre air fryer to 200˚C/400˚F for 3 minutes. Cut 1kg (2lb) baby red-skinned potatoes into quarters lengthways. Place in a large bowl with 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp dried oregano, 2 tbsp finely chopped rosemary and 4 crushed cloves garlic, then season; mix well to coat. Taking care, place potatoes in the air fryer basket; at 200˚C/400˚F, cook for 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time, until golden and tender. Serve drizzled with 2 tbsp lemon juice.

Mustard and mint air fryer roast potatoes

Preheat a 7-litre air fryer to 200˚C/400˚F for 3 minutes. Cut 1kg (2lb) baby red-skinned potatoes in half lengthways. Place in a large bowl with 2 tbsp olive oil, then season; mix well to coat. Taking care, place potatoes in the air fryer basket; at 200˚C/400˚F, cook for 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time, until golden and tender. Meanwhile, combine 1 tsp each dijon mustard and wholegrain mustard, 2 tbsp finely chopped mint, 1 tbsp olive oil and 3 tsp white wine vinegar in a large bowl; add potatoes and toss to coat. Serve scattered with mint leaves.

Peri peri roast potatoes

Preheat a 7-litre air fryer to 200˚C/400˚F for 3 minutes. Cut 1kg (2lb) baby red-skinned potatoes in half widthways. Place in a large bowl with 2 tbsp olive oil, 25g (¾oz) sachet medium peri peri seasoning and 3 crushed cloves garlic, then season; mix well to coat. Taking care, place potatoes in the air fryer basket; at 200˚C/400˚F, cook for 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time, until golden and tender. Drizzle with peri peri sauce for extra heat, if you like.

Fetta, dill & bacon air fryer potatoes

Preheat a 7-litre air fryer to 200˚C/400˚F for 3 minutes. Cut 1kg (2lb) baby red-skinned potatoes into quarters. Place in a large bowl with 2 tbsp olive oil, then season; mix well to coat. Taking care, place potatoes in the air fryer basket; at 200˚C/400˚F, cook for 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time, until golden and tender. Add 150g (4½oz) chopped rindless middle-cut bacon rashers to the air fryer basket for the last 7 minutes of cooking time. Meanwhile, combine 30g (1oz) crumbled fetta, 1 tbsp chopped dill, 2 tbsp whole-egg mayonnaise and ¼ cup sour cream in a large bowl; add potatoes and toss to coat. Top with the crispy bacon and extra dill sprigs.
