Method

1.Combine onion and the water in large saucepan, bring to a boil; boil, uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes or until onion is soft and liquid has evaporated.
2.Add remaining ingredients; stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar is dissolved.
3.Simmer, covered, 30 minutes. Remove cover; simmer, stirring occasionally, further 30 minutes or until mixture thickens. Spoon marmalade into hot sterilised jars; seal while hot.

Storage in refrigerator for about 1 month.
