Rissoles with grilled onions

Delicious little French croquettes with a tangy caramelised onions from Australian Women's Weekly.

1.Cook bacon and onion in oiled medium frying pan, stirring, until onion softens. Cool.
2.Combine mince, breadcrumbs, egg, sauces and bacon mixture in large bowl; shape mixture into 12 rissoles.
3.Cook rissoles on heated oiled barbecue grill plate until cooked through.
4.Meanwhile, heat oil on barbecue flat plate; cook onions, stirring, until browned lightly. Add sugar and vinegar; cook, stirring, about 5 minutes or until onions caramelise.
5.Serve rissoles with grilled onions and, if desired, a green salad.
