Ingredients

Dressing

Method

1.

Preheat a chargrill plate over high heat. Brush or spray a little oil over the pork steaks; cook for 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a warm plate, season and rest for a few minutes.

2.

Meanwhile, put the coleslaw mix into a large bowl with snow peas and green apple. Add ¾ of the dressing and toss to coat.

3.

Serve the steaks on warmed plates with coleslaw, topped with dressing.

Dressing

1.

Place sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds in a small bowl; stir to combine. Any meat juices from the cooked pork can also be added to the dressing.

For a quick-fix sandwich version, use pork sizzle steaks and soft burger buns. We’ve added snow peas and green apple to the coleslaw mix, but this can be a good way to use up leftover vegetables in your crisper. Red capsicum, bok choy, zucchini, cucumber, and green beans can all be sliced and added to the mix.
