What is an Instant Pot?

An Instant Pot is a multi-cooker appliance that can be used across a broad range of cooking applications, and combines many kitchen appliances into the one space-saving machine.

A multicooker will streamline the cooking process for a variety of cooking functions, such as roast, air fry, pressure cook, slow cook, bake and more. Less hands-on cooking and less washing-up throughout the cooking process are the rewards when using a multi-cooker. All this time saved means you’ll be getting delicious meals on the table a lot more quickly.

There are an assortment of Instant Pot models for sale in the marketplace. For this recipe, we used the 8-litre Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer. Always read the safety and operating instructions for your specific model.
