Ingredients
¼ medium green-skinned apple (40g), cut into thin matchsticks
1 tablespoon no-fat greek-style yoghurt
2 tablespoons skim milk
1 tablespoon (10g) rolled oats
1 teaspoon black chia seeds
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Method
1. Combine half the apple, the yoghurt, milk, oats, seeds, extract and half the cinnamon in a bowl. Cover; refrigerate overnight.
2. Serve topped with remaining apple and sprinkled with remaining cinnamon.
Combine bircher muesli in a jar with a tight-fitting lid for easy
transportation to work. Cut apple as needed to prevent it from discolouring.
