Method

1.Combine red apples, blueberries and water in a small saucepan; bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, covered, about 10 minutes or until fruit is tender. Cool slightly; blend mixture until smooth. Push purée through a sieve to remove any pieces of skin.

suitable from 6 months We used red apples in the apple and blueberry purée as green apples are often too tart for infants. Golden delicious apples can be used (for both apple recipes), as they are quite sweet.
