Recreate this popular Asian starter at home using your own fresh ingredients. It's a fun way to get the whole family involved in the kitchen this weekend.
1.In a medium bowl, combine pork mince, shiitake mushroom, water chestnut, green onion, grated ginger and soy sauce with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix thoroughly.
2.Place a teaspoon of filling in centre of each wonton wrapper and gently squeeze wrapper around filling to resemble a moneybag.
3.Grease base of each tier of a steamer. Place dim sims in steamer, leaving space between each. Place steamer ever a wok or saucepan of simmering water, cover and steam for 15 minutes, until cooked through.
4.Serve hot with sauces for dipping.
