Ingredients

Spicy black bean squid stir-fry
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 fresh long red chilli, sliced thinly
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 200 gram squid rings
  • 1/2 cup (140g) black bean sauce
  • 1 green onion, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup (40g) bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed fresh coriander leaves

Method

Spicy black bean squid stir-fry

    Heat oil in a wok over high heat; stir-fry chilli and ginger 30 seconds.

    Add squid; stir-fry 30 seconds. Add sauce; stir-fry 1 minute.

    Serve squid topped with onion, sprouts and herbs.

Notes

Squid can be swapped for prawns or chicken.
