Savoury mince on toast is an all-time family favourite; kids and adults of all ages love it. Serve on buttered toast or, to extend the meal even further, mix the mince with cooked pasta. Use any vegetables you like.
1.Cook onion in a heated oiled large saucepan, over high heat, stirring, for 3 minutes or until softened. Add beef; cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until beef changes colour.
2.Add tomatoes to pan; bring to the boil. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until mixture is thick. Add vegetables, simmer for a further 5 minutes or until vegetables are heated through.
Freeze ¼ cups of savoury mince, in an airtight container, for up to 1 month.
