Iceberg lettuce cups and crispy fried noodles add delicious crunch to this quick and easy crispy beef san choy bow recipe.

Ingredients

Crispy beef sang choy bow
  • 2 thinly sliced green onions
  • 400 gram beef mince
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 100 gram crispy fried noodles
  • 2 thinly sliced green onions.
  • 8 iceberg lettuce leaves.

Method

    Heat oiled wok; stir-fry 2 thinly sliced green onions until soft.

    Add 400g beef mince; stir-fry until browned. Add 1 cup frozen peas and ¼ cup hoisin sauce; stir-fry until hot.

    Remove from heat; stir in 100g crispy fried noodles and another 2 thinly sliced green onions.

    Divide beef mixture between 8 large iceberg lettuce leaves.

Notes

For crisp lettuce cups stand lettuce leaves in a large bowl of iced water; drain then dry in salad spinner just before serving.
