Buttery mashed celeriac
Simple, smooth and creamy, buttery mashed celeriac is a fabulous side dish, either in place of or as well as mashed potato.

Buttery mashed celeriac
- 2 kilogram celeriac, peeled, chopped
- 90 gram butter, chopped
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
Method
Buttery mashed celeriac
- 1Boil or steam celeriac until tender. Drain.
- 2Mash celeriac with most of the butter until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve topped with remaining butter and chives.
