Prawn and noodle stir-fry

A super fast and easy Asian-style prawn and noodle stir-fry that is great for busy evenings.

Prawn and noodle stir-fry
  • 500 gram uncooked medium king prawns
  • 200 gram dried rice stick noodles
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoon japanese soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek
  • 1 cup (80g) bean sprouts
  • 1/4 cup loosely packed fresh coriander leaves

    Shell and devein prawns leaving tails intact.

    Place noodles in a large heatproof bowl, cover with boiling water; stand until just tender, drain.

    Meanwhile heat oiled wok over high heat; stir-fry prawns and garlic until prawns are just changed in colour. Add noodles, sauces and sambal; gently stir-fry until hot.

    Stir in bean sprouts and coriander.
