Greek meatball pocket

Greek meatball pocket
  • 500 gram minced (ground) beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup stale breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 packet pitta bread
  • 2 cup packaged greek salad
  • 3/4 cup packaged tzatziki

    Combine beef, egg and stale breadcrumbs in a medium bowl; roll rounded tablespoons of mixture into balls, flatten slightly.

    Cook meatballs in a heated oiled large frying pan until browned and cooked through.

    Cut pitta bread in half horizontally. Fill pittas with meatballs, greek salad and tzatziki.
