Chai

Ingredients

Chai
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground gloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 395 gram canned sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 english breakfast tea bags
  • 1.25 litre (5 cups) boiling water

Method

    Combine honey, spices and condensed milk in small bowl. Cover, refrigerate overnight.
  • 2
    Place one tea bag in each of eight cups or tea glasses. Add the boiling water, stand 3 minutes. Discard tea bags, stir 1 teaspoon of the spiced milk mixture into each cup.

Notes

Keep the leftover spiced milk mixture, covered, in the refrigerator for up to five days.
